This CD came with a long letter begging me to be brutally honest and assuring me that the band is much better live than they are on this album. I'm all about self-released albums, so that's a start. The band seems to have some jam-band influences ranging from Sublime to Dave Matthews, and as far as the music goes (and it being in this genre) I would give this a borrow rating, except for the vocals. This guy's voice bugs me. Like, a lot. Flesh out the songs and get a new singer. There you have it: brutally honest.
