My first impression of this band, from the songs to the artwork (a lonely robot on a homemade sailboat), screams nineties emo/rock, a la Sunny Day Real Estate and Jets To Brazil. The songs are put together in a non-traditional manner, and I can tell the band has put a lot of thought into the songs' presentation. The album as a whole is a nice change from the piles of crappy prefabricated pop punk and screamo bands in the world, but I don't see myself listening to the entire album on repeat. However! I really, really like "A Lust Song."
