Further Seems Forever : Hide Nothing (2004)
Tooth And Nail Records : CD/LP (10 Songs) : www.furtherseemsforever.com

Now that all the copycat bands of the emo trend have deluded the genre completely, it's time for everyone to discover the root of this mess. Enter: Further Seems Forever, one of the godfathers of the emo movement of the late 90's! Now on their third singer, FSF hold strong to their original sound and beliefs. I back that. They have grown as a band on this record and are a little less raw, but the songwriting is still spot on. FSF have somehow successfully survived the demoralization of a sound they helped bring to the mainstream. That's fuckin' impressive.
