The Profits : The Sign Of The Dollar (2004)
Dyda Records : CD/LP (10 Songs) : www.theprofits.net

Acoustic guitars, stand-up bass, auxiliary percussion, brushes on the snare and harmonizing vocal melodies in the vein of John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and Dave Matthews. This band is very, very good at writing hooks. Whether you like mellow acoustic rock or not, you won’t be able to deny the catchy choruses in every song on this album. The vocal harmonies are great, and it's nice to hear singers who can actually sing (gasp) in key. And that’s without auto-tune. This will be a hit on the college circuit, especially with the girls.
